A CORONATION Street star has made an emotional exit in tonight’s episode amid a sickening abuse storyline.

The Driscoll family were devastated to learn that their son Will had been gaslit and groomed.

His distraught family persuaded Will that he should move to Scotland to live with his mother and that a change of scenery might do him good.

Ben later admitted to Steve that he was stressed about Will and kept expecting Megan to “turn up and whisk him away.”

He also revealed that he was dreading dropping Will off to the train station, so Steve offered Tim’s services instead.

Later, as Will gathered his things to leave, Ben asked if , but Will denied it again.

An emotional Ben added: “Tim’s taking you to the station son, I’ll just make a show of you like its the end of Toy Story 3.”

Susie then grabbed Will in a loving hug and said: “I don’t want you to go.”

Ben said: “Sweetheart, he’s only going to Scotland, it’s only a few hours away.”

At the end of the episode, Ben shared an emotional goodbye on the street, before Will got into Tim’s cab.

“Off to Bonnie Scotland then eh,” said Tim to a smiling Will as they drove off to the station.

However, in a shock twist, Will checked his train booking on his phone which confirmed that he was heading to
