“I have to be careful, because I don’t wanna get emotional…but strong enough for my baby boy that I’ve waited so long for.

“That’s been the hardest bit about it, because two weeks ago I didn’t feel like I was gonna be strong enough to do this.”

Sophie and Jordan had been open about their struggles to fall pregnant, before finally sharing their happy news just before Christmas.

During the podcast, Jordan also paid tribute to Sophie, 36, and how she had .

He said: “I don’t know what I would’ve done without that girl, honestly, and how she’s done it and navigated life over the recent months while being so heavily pregnant.

“Holding my family up in a hospital bed next to me when we didn’t know whether I was gonna make it or not is terrible.

“She is incredible, and I want this pregnancy and this birth to go swimmingly well, touch wood, everything goes right.

“And I really want Soph to enjoy motherhood because she deserves it. She deserves every single bit of it.”

Despite the love the couple clearly have for one another, Jordan also revealed he won’t be popping the question any time soon.

He explained: “Soph has said she doesn’t wanna get proposed to while she’s pregnant, so we’re gonna have the baby first.

“But if she falls pregnant again, she’s never gonna want to get married while she’s pregnant. She wants our kids close together so it’s circumstantial.

“That’s naturally gonna end up being two, three, maybe four years until we get married.”
