It’s April-fragrant flowers are blossoming everywhere, and vibrant greenery abounds after a cold winter! Just like the colorful flowers, a variety of K-dramas kept us entertained this past month. Here’s a recap of the top five K-dramas that were the most-watched on Viki in April.

“The Haunted Palace”; is a fantasy historical rom-com that delves into the tale of the Eight Feet Tall spirit that bears a grudge against the king, a female shaman who opposes it, and an evil spirit known as Imugi. BTOB ’s Yook Sungjae stars as Yoon Gap, a loyal royal archivist who becomes possessed by an Imugi named Gang Cheol. WJSN ’s Kim Ji Yeon stars as Yeo Ri, the granddaughter of a powerful shaman who rejects her spiritual powers and destined path.

Based on a novel, “Way Back Love”; is a fantasy romance drama starring Kim Min Ha as Hee Wan, a 24-year-old woman who has isolated herself from society after losing the will to live. A week before her death, her childhood friend and first love Ram Woo ( Gong Myoung ) appears before her as a grim reaper.

“ Crushology 101 ”;
Based on a popular webtoon, “Crushology 101”; is a romance drama following the journey of college student Ban Hee Jin ( Roh Jeong Eui ), who is nicknamed “Bunny.”; After her first relationship ends badly, Ban Hee Jin unexpectedly finds herself entangled with multiple handsome men that suddenly approach her.

“ Heo’s Diner ”;
Based on a web novel, “Heo’s Diner”; is a fantasy rom-com that follows Heo Gyun (EXO’s Xiumin ), a figure from the Joseon era, who unexpectedly travels 400 years into the present time and begins running a restaurant. WJSN ’s Chu So Jung (Exy) stars as Bong Eun Sil, the determined daughter of a humble, unnamed home-cooked meal restaurant who hires Heo Gyun as the head chef.
