TOMMY FURY and Eddie Hall are set to do battle in a mismatch boxing clash.

One has a background in while the other made it big as a contestant before making a name for himself in the ring.

There is 12 years between the two athletes and almost as many fights.

Hall, who won World’s Strongest Man in 2017, has just one professional bout under his belt – a defeat to his Strongman rival Hafthor ‘Thor’ Bjornsson.

While Fury, 26, has defeated the likes of , KSI and Kenan Hanjalic.

He is no stranger to , who will at Manchester’s AO Arena in June.

And standing just two inches smaller, Fury may fancy his chances against The Beast.

However there is a notable size difference to overcome, with Hall weighing 64kg more than Fury.

Hall, 38, was rocked in his previous contest against Thor – and Fury has shown his knock-out credentials with four KOs in his short career.

His lack of size is compensated by his experience, with 11 fights to his name and 11 wins.

Fury tipped the scales at just under 90kg before his last fight – a decision victory over Kenan Hanjalic in Hungary last May.

Hall has weighed more than double that before and came in at 152kg for an MMA fight last year.

SunSport understands that an official announcement is due in the coming days.

Each fighter will be gunning for victory on fight night but this is not the first time Fury and Hall have linked up.
