A legal practitioner, Kenneth Okonkwo, has accused the administration of President Bola Tinubu of being part of the criminal gang buying and selling Nigeria.

Okonkwo made this allegation on Wednesday during a live appearance in an interview on ‘Politics Today’, a programme on Channels Television.

He was speaking on the call for state police following the wave of insecurity bedeviling the country.

According to him, President Tinubu will continue to play politics with state police, noting that he is incapable of solving the insecurity problem.

“So I’m sorry to say this, that the government is now part of the criminal gang that is buying and selling Nigerians.

“The only thing this lame, incompetent, lying and corrupt government know how to do is to politicize everything, including security. That’s why it is metastasizing all over the nation.

“The President is incapable. He doesn’t have enough boots on the ground. You have a lot of ungoverned spaces. Hunger and hardship is increasing. Suffering of people increasing.

“They are easy to be recruited. Criminality is not being punished. Tinubu and his cohorts say they talk to the terrorist nicely to release the ones that they have.
“You can imagine that more than hundreds of people are kidnapped at a time, and they will release the whole 100 and nothing happened,” he said.
