A former contestant, Thomas was the first celebrity eliminated from the BBC dance competition, alongside a professional dancer.

The duo performed a dance that left viewers unimpressed and were eliminated during Sunday’s episode.
During their exit interview, Thomas and Amy expressed their admiration for one another, and this morning he took to social media to express his gratitude for his fans' support.
“Good morning and happy Monday to all you wonderful people! I’m back in the van today; it’s going to be another busy one,” he posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. I’m catching up on messages and emails this morning, so I will respond to anyone needing a new mattress.”
Thomas was referring to his day job of selling mattresses and was seen back in his delivery van on Monday.
“I also want to extend a huge thank you for all the lovely messages of support I’ve received. It truly means the world! I know my dancing wasn’t the best, but I had so much fun,” he continued on X.
“But now it’s time to get back to reality. You are ten times stronger than you can ever imagine… so don’t give up! Keep pushing forward! Let’s make today amazing.”
Thomas concluded: “New week, new day, new beginnings. Don’t stop until you’re proud. Let’s go!”
Thomas and Amy received a very low score of just 13 for their lively Salsa on Saturday, with one judge commenting that he looked like he was competing in a “weight lifting competition.”
He noted that the performance “lacked genuine hip rotation and fluidity.”
Another judge simply described the performance as “interesting,” while another added: “You gave it a good effort.”
Thomas has faced various controversies since his participation in the iconic show was announced.
Before the show began, he walked out during an interview.
Additionally, he has been in the news for troubling reasons after admitting to a “two-week fling” just weeks after marrying Sinéad in May 2022.
He described it as a “moment of madness” that nearly “ruined his life.”
