Thomas Muller and his wife Lisa have separated after 17 years of marriage, ending months of speculation.
The former Bayern legend left the club after 17 years in the first team, and now he and his wife have parted after the exact same amount of time together.

The couple loved their horses, with Lisa being a dressage rider
Suspicion had built around the stability of the couple’s relationship, with Lisa not being present at any of Thomas’ matches since Euro 2024.
Lisa was also reportedly absent from Muller’s final match for Bayern and the end of season Bundesliga party, an event attended by all players and their partners.
On Instagram, the couple unfollowed each other, although nothing was publicly said about their relationship, until now.
Reports from Germany say that the couple decided to go their own ways some time ago, with Lisa not moving to Canada with Thomas following his transfer to the MLS.
After almost two decades together, the Muller couple were well-known for their work with horses.
One horse called Checker, won gold at the 2024 Olympic games, adding another medal to Thomas’ illustrious cabinet.
Lisa co-owned the horse with Thomas , being a German dressage rider herself, reportedly getting Thomas into equestrian.
Away from winning gold at the Olympics, the couple also remarkably sold frozen horse semen from their stud farm in Germany.

There were accusations of animal cruelty issued by after the couple announced that one of their favourite horses, “Dave”, had sustained an injury.
After large sales of horse sperm were reported, German newspaper Bild labelled the couple as, “horse sperm millionaires” in 2021.
Thomas and Lisa Muller have reportedly disclosed that the breakup was handled peacefully, with no public dispute, ending their relationship quietly.
