THIS Morning doctor Philippa Kay has shared a health update amid her recent cancer battle.
Earlier this year, the TV doctor revealed she was facing issues of her own after years of advising callers about their own health concerns.

In her latest post, she offered a health update in which she described life as “cancer and post cancer”.
Alongside a series of selfies, Philippa offered a clearer insight into her current struggles.
The star admitted she hadn’t shared an update in recent weeks as she “didn’t know what to say”.
She added: “The truth is more complicated.
“The surgery was successful but there are ongoing bowel and other issues.
“Now we have to work out what might still improve and what I might be left with forever and how to manage that.”
She then added: “I am so tired of it all.”
Philippa’s TV pals were quick to rally around her amid her troubling thoughts and concerning words in her post.
TV’s wrote to her: “Sending you all the love, hugs and prayers and kisses.
“Can I do anything/bring anything or visit my darling friend?”
Strictly’s Punam Krishan added: “Sending you so much love.”
and also followed up with similar sweet sentiments.
Dr Philippa first revealed a fresh wave of health woes back in January when she confirmed she would be undergoing surgery.
Previously, the TV doctor and author has faced multiple struggles with her health.
The mum-of-three was diagnosed with stage two aged 39 and underwent treatment at the time.
This included six months of chemotherapy and a 12-hour surgery to remove the final cancer lesion.
In October 2020, she revealed live on-air that she had been given the all-clear.
“For the first time in nearly 18 months I am able to say that I am cancer free, that is huge, and I am hugely excited to be out of my day pyjamas to speak to you!” she told then hosts and .
Writing for The Sun back in 2024, Philippa revealed that although she received the all-clear she still needs to attend yearly check-ins.
“Mine was found to be related to a genetic mutation which doubles my risk of bowel cancer,” she penned.
“Even though my latest scans and colonoscopy last August were clear, I will continue to have to be assessed annually, because although my cancer was treated, my genes remain and my risk is still double the general population.”
