Heck Minted Lamb burgers have been mixed up with Heck Steak & Butter presenting a serious risk for anyone with a dairy allergy or intolerance.

The affected product is the Minted Lamb 2 Pack (320g) with a “Use By” date of 03/04/26.

The statement urged: “If you’ve bought an affected product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, please don’t eat it.

“Instead, return it to a store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.”

You can find your closest branch by using the store locator on the Tesco website.

Heck is taking the move as a precautionary measure to ensure all customers stay safe.

No other date codes or Heck products are believed to be affected by this packaging blunder.

For everyone else without a milk allergy, the burgers are safe.

It continued: “No other Heck products sold at Tesco are affected by this recall.

“We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
