The Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has announced that terrorists and kidnappers no longer have a secure environment to operate within the state due to the deployment of forest guards in crucial areas.

“With the establishment of the forest guards, we are taking the initiative. Our citizens deserve peace and security. Anyone who believes otherwise is an adversary of the state and will not be tolerated,” he added.
In addressing the newly trained guards, the governor urged them to regard their responsibilities as a significant national duty.
“You are undertaking a vital mission to safeguard our citizens from criminals lurking in the forests,” he remarked.
“In collaboration with other security agencies, you must eradicate terrorists, restore order, and ensure our communities are safer than ever.”
AbdulRazaq also praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he termed a courageous response to the nation’s security challenges, as well as the Office of the National Security Adviser for coordinating this initiative.
