TERENCE CRAWFORD believes the Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight was ‘scripted’ and the former was forced to hold back.
In November 2024, Paul defeated Tyson via decision, but many fans were left disappointed by Iron Mike’s lacklustre display, even accounting for him being 58 at the time.

this time against the fresh out of retirement who is also set to face old foe in the pro ranks this year.
Speaking on ‘s podcast, the former three-weight undisputed world champion insists Tyson fighting again is not a good idea and his bout with Paul was a sham.
Crawford said: “He’s not going to land a fist on Mayweather. Not after his last performance.”
When asked if he thought the fight was fake, Crawford didn’t hold back.
“I don’t know. I think it was scripted.
“I ain’t never seen Tyson biting his gloves. It was taking all that he could to not hit him. It’s heartbreaking seeing an icon go out like that.”
Rogan pointed to Tyson’s $20 million payday as a good reason to get in there and fight, but Crawford was not moved by that argument.
“He shouldn’t have been in there. At all. I think there’s other ways [to make money].
“With all his connections and things like that, I think people could have put him in the right position to make some money.”
MVP, Paul’s promotional company, have always denied claims the fight was fixed in any way.
Nikisa Bidarian said: “Breaking news, there is no news. Stop spreading fake news. There’s no truth to all this stuff around and .”
Paul certainly didn’t have an agreement with Anthony Joshua when he fought the Brit a year later.
The YouTuber ended up with a broken jaw after suffering his first-ever knockout loss. After a slow start, the two-time heavyweight champion ended up dismantling Paul.
