A SUPPLY teacher has admitted taking more than 100 upskirt photos of pupils.

Abusali Rahman, 36, was arrested in June 2025 after a parent raised the alarm when an image of their child in school uniform was circulated online.

At Bolton crown court yesterday, Rahman pleaded guilty via video link from jail to 21 offences.

They include 12 charges of taking indecent photographs of children by upskirting, distributing an indecent photo of a child, making indecent photos of children and voyeurism.

Emma Kehoe, defending, said: “Mr Rahman knows this is a sentence but was going through a mental health crisis at the time.”

She asked for a psychiatric report ahead of sentencing on September 1.

Rahman, a British national of Bangladeshi ethnicity from , worked at secondary across the from qualifying as a teacher in 2023 to his arrest in 2025.

He has not worked at the schools since then, and has been held in custody.

Greater Manchester Police said earlier that the charges related to 13 girls aged 13 to 16 at seven schools.

Officers said they were yet to identify four victims.
