Shut the hotels
ALMOST every week, hundreds of young men enter the UK illegally on small boats.
The Government has no idea who they are, where they are really from — or, crucially, the threat posed to the public.

Yesterday a horrific court case showed what tragic consequences this failed policy can have.
A jury concluded by three predatory

They laughed, spat on the victim and filmed the ordeal before going back to their Home Office-funded hotel for a barbecue.
Later, one of the men sickeningly told the court: “Rape is sex.”
None of the three men had valid asylum claims.
The claims that once they have been sentenced moves will be made to deport them.
But they should never have been here in the first place.
If ministers are incapable of stopping the boats, the very least they must do is ensure the public is kept safe.
That means closing ALL the hotels and opening secure camps instead.
