La Voix 'too hot for drag'

By Jack Hardwick

DRAG artist La Voix was front and centre at Strictly’s wrap party despite her recent exit due to an injury.

The celeb, 45, worked up such a sweat she had to “de-drag” and return as alter ego Chris Dennis to continue with the bash.

A source said: “Everyone at the BBC loves La Voix so while she didn’t make the final there wasn’t a question she would be there.

“She was one of the main people egging everyone on to have a good time to the point she got too hot and had to change. She disappeared only to re-emerge as her real self. Chris.”

Missed a beat with viewers

THE Strictly Come Dancing final pulled in the fewest viewers ever for a final.

Just 8.6million tuned in to BBC One to watch Karen Carney beat Love Islander Amber Davies and influencer George Clarke on Saturday night.

The figures are 200,000 down on 2024’s final, which saw comedian Chris McCausland lift the glitterball trophy.

The ratings are more than a million down from 2023 which saw 9.9million tune in. Bosses will hope the figures rise once streaming figures from iPlayer are factored in later this month.

Strictly has been marred with scandal in the last year with injuries seeing off Dani Dyer and La Voix this series.
