NEW Strictly Come Dancing host Emma Willis “banned” her husband Matt from doing the show – six years before landing the top job.

Bosses replacing and see her as a “safe pair of hands” and incredibly popular with the public.
But years before her big move, Emma told how she would never allow her hubby Matt to do the show – despite him being a keen dancer.
Emma said: “I’m a jealous person. If my husband is around a younger, good-looking woman, I’m like, ‘Stop looking at them’,
“Matt could do Strictly, because he’s an amazing dancer. Every now and then he will bust out a pirouette in the middle of the living room and our daughter will be like, ‘Wow, Daddy!’”

“But I don’t want him grinding against hot women,” she added.
In 2020, former pop star Matt appeared not to heed to Emma’s comments as he told The Mirror: “They’ll be some sort of dancing show in my future, I am sure.
“Not this year, but it’s a given isn’t it? At some point.”
Matt is yet to make his debut on any dancing show.
Perhaps fans will see Emma change her mind now she’ll be spending on the Strictly set.
Emma and Matt, 43, married in July 2008 after meeting when she was a presenter on and he was a member of the band .
They went on to have three children together: Isabelle, 16, 14-year-old Ace and 10-year-old Trixie.
The Sun revealed Emma was in the running for the Strictly job back in February.
A source said: “Emma has been offered and is going to accept.
“She absolutely nailed the chemistry tests and the adore her… She was absolutely thrilled to have been offered the job.
“Strictly is one of the biggest shows on and to be trusted with the new era is something Emma feels incredibly proud and humbled by.”
