CRAIG Revel Horwood has ignited a noise dispute with his neighbors over plans to invest in a swim spa and hot tub at his countryside retreat.
The Strictly judge intends to elevate his backyard to create a terrace surrounding the amenities at his £1.7 million country residence, which features a lake and pond.

However, neighbors have criticized the proposed development, claiming “excessive” noise from pool parties at his seven-bedroom property.
Horwood, 60, had to contact the Environment Agency after flooding his garden while commencing construction by demolishing walls and digging foundations.
He has now submitted an application to the local council for planning permission for a Ground Force-style garden makeover and to conduct flood mitigation works.
In a letter, one neighbor expressed: “Without vegetation along their low wall, there is already excessive noise coming from their garden when they frequently host gatherings.
“The layout of the land, with the trees by the river, allows residents to easily hear conversations and sounds from their gardens near the pool area.
“Elevating the terrace area will worsen this issue if no trees or noise reduction measures are implemented along the low walls by the gates.
“We oppose the elevation of this area unless some form of noise reduction can be established along the boiler room walls and around where this elevation will occur.”
The Sun has reached out to Craig’s representative for a statement.
Horwood’s residence is partially located within a designated conservation area, featuring a Grade II listed arch as part of the boundary wall, set on 2.2 acres of land.
It is also situated within an “amber impact zone” for great crested newts – a protected species.
The neighbor added: “If noise reduction, such as trees along their wall, can be implemented, then we would not object to this. However, the noise from their garden is already quite significant.
“And it will be amplified with this area being raised due to their low walls and absence of vegetation along the walls for sound absorption, meaning we will hear all noise from this area even more distinctly.”
Horwood previously received approval from planners to construct a larger entrance hall, gym, master bedroom, butler's kitchen, wine cellar, and snug.
In a statement, his planning agent mentioned: “The changes to the terraces and levels within the garden will not appear out of place, representing new yet compatible features within what is currently a residential garden.”
Officials at the local council are anticipated to make a decision regarding the pool plans next month.
