The Benue State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, led by Comrade Austin Agada, has announced the formation of a Central Planning Committee and relevant Sub-Committees to oversee a seamless and transparent State Congress.
The move aligns with the Constitutional Guidelines for nationwide congresses approved by the APC National Working Committee.
For the Central Planning Committee,
Ambassador Prof. Iorwuese Hagher was appointed Chairman, with Senator Titus Tartenger Zam as Deputy Chairman. Other members include senators Emmanuel Udende and Arc. Asema Achado, Engr. Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev, Hon. Terseer Ugbor, Barr. Cosmos Akighir, Hon. Dickson Tarkighi, Chief Mrs Regina Akume JP, Dr. Mathias Byuan, Barr. Pius Akutah, Princess Awuese Torher, Vincent Isegbe, Arc. Sunny Echonu, Engr. Nick Wende, Chief Philip Agbese, Rt. Hon. Sekav Iyortyom, Rt. Hon. David Ogewu, Daniel Ihomun, Comrade Dominic Alancha, and Barr. Danladi Ochekpe as Secretary.
The Finance Sub-Committee is chaired by Hon. Arc. Asema Achado. The committee includes Hon. Benedict Akombo, Barr. Cosmos Akighir, Arc. Sunny Echonu, and Chief Mrs. Helen Atom, with Dr. Mathias Byuan serving as Secretary.
The Security Sub-Committee is led by Chris Tarka, assisted by Chief Michael Msuaan, Hon. Arc. Asema Achado, Hon. Loverty Makyur, Capt. Hance Dim (Rtd), Henry Usha, Tersoo Ifi, Victor Okwe, and Terfa Samson Sende. Prince Abba Yaro serves as Secretary.
