IT’S one of the most arduous parts of school for parents all over the world.
But if you think you’ve got it rough when it comes to the run, spare a thought for

In a chat alongside husband onand Sophie Habboo’s NearlyParents podcast, Stacey opened up about the “military operation” that is getting for the school day.
“We have four school runs,” Stacey sighed, referring to their kids Zachary, 17, Leighton, 12, Rex, five, three-year-old Rose and two-year-old Belle.
“So my eldest goes to college, the next one down goes to seniors, the next one down goes to primary, and the next one at nursery.
“So there are four different schools.”
“It’s a military operation in the morning,” Joe added.
“If one thing goes wrong, the whole operation falls apart!”
Jamie then asked what time things kick off in the morning, to which Joe revealed that the alarm goes off at around 5.30am.
“The first run starts at 7.15 and we don’t get back to the house until 9.15,” Stacey continued.
“So it’s a two-hour run because everyone’s got to be dropped at their school.
“And obviously the youngest go last because the nursery opens last.
“So you’ve got a two-year-old and a three-year-old in a car for two hours.
“So by the time you drop them off, the whole car is literally like, ‘I want a drink, I need a wee’. Like, so much is happening!”
Joe added that the school run forms just one part of the “juggling act” that makes up every day for their blended family.
“Having kids is the most amazing thing because before you have kids, it’s all about yourselves,” he explained.
“And then suddenly you have kids and your identity changes.
“So instead of like… suddenly it changes and your priority is the kids and work is almost like a secondary.
