The South Korean superstar’s contract with Spurs expired at the end of the month.

And the forward has opted to move on to pastures new a little over two months after ending the club’s trophy drought by lifting the Europa League.
An emotional Son said at the start of a press conference: “Before we start the press conference, I just want to share the information that I’ve decided to leave the club in the summer.
“And respectfully, the club is helping me with my decision.
“So I just want to share this information before we start the press conference.”
