FOOTBALL fans were left cringing as Sky Sports commentators made Dad jokes after spotting Jon Bon Jovi at Brentford vs Tottenham.

The music icon was sitting in the crowd at the G-Tec when cameras panned to him in black sunnies.

Smiling away, the American, 64, was quickly the subject of some song puns.

With Bill Leslie on main duties and Alan Smith his co-comms partner, the pair immediately cracked a gag.

Leslie said: “There was a rumour doing the rounds that he’d come to watch one of Tottenham’s new signings that he heard had joined from a coastal club.

“He heard that Jonny used to work down the docks.”

Referencing the lyrics from top hit Livin’ on a Prayer, Smith picked up on it and replied: “It’s been a bed of roses for Spurs so far.”

That drew a laugh from Leslie but fans weren’t sure about their chat.
