VIRGIN Media TV viewers could lose access to the many TV shows and films they have in the next 40 days.

Customers must take action before November 1 or lose access to the purchases they have made.

On November 1, the Store will close its digital doors permanently.

One of the perks of the rival was it allowed users to buy and keep and shows without a monthly subscription.

These purchases were transferred to the Virgin Media set-top box where they could be accessed whenever.

However, as the digitial store is closing, users could lose access unless they complete this one task.

Users must you do need to move them over to Rakuten TV to ensure they can continue watching them.

In a recent blog past, Virgin Media explained the move.

The post read: “ is the new home for the movies and TV box sets you’ve bought from us, and also offers the latest movies to buy, thousands of movies and TV box sets to watch for free, and free Live TV channels.

“Rakuten TV gives you even more to watch on your Virgin TV 360 box, V6 box or Stream box – from new releases to ad-supported films.”

The transfer itself is simple and users just need to head to the Virgin Media Store website and log in with their account details.

Once in, look for the option ot transfer to Rakuten TV and tap on it. From there, the on-screen prompts will complete the transfer.
