SIR Chris Hoy has said exercise has helped him to deal with his terminal ­cancer diagnosis — calling it a “miracle drug”.

The six-time Olympic champ, 50, said it had benefited him both physically and mentally.

And he claimed it has been proven to help with the effectiveness of medications.

Scottish star Sir Chris added that he still has difficult moments.

He described having “ups and downs” but said that he tries to remain in the present.
