SHONA McGARTY has finally spoken out after being officially announced for this year's I'm A Celebrity.
The former star, 34, was revealed last night as one of ten celebrities heading into the Australian jungle ahead of Sunday’s launch show.

Now, the actress has taken a moment to discuss her participation in the long-running show for the first time.
In a close-up video, she begins: “For everyone saying that I’m heading into the jungle, I don’t understand why you think I would ever do that.
“I haven’t hinted at it or mentioned anything. I’m just confused by it all.”
She then pulled back to reveal a cork hat with tassels on her head as the theme tune started playing.
The One star arrived on Sunday night as she made her way through Brisbane airport.
She humorously noted that she has a cousin in Australia and laughed: “I must have taken the wrong flight!
“Now I’ll need to ask for directions back.”
When asked what she would miss about the UK, she replied: “Not much. I really want to see a kangaroo. I’ve never seen one before.”
Shona seemed to make a statement when she was photographed at Heathrow before her flight, wearing her engagement ring.

Prior to her long journey to Australia, Shona sparked interest with a cryptic post about “new beginnings.”

“It’s a new beginning, and this time I’m embracing life with open arms and an open heart.
“I’ve spent too long second-guessing myself, dimming my light, and trying to fit into spaces that were never meant for me.
