After three years of marriage, Shin Go Eun and Yoon Jong Hwa have gone their separate ways.
On May 1, Shin Go Eun announced that she and Yoon Jong Hwa had gotten divorced nearly half a year ago. The two actors met on the set of the MBC drama “Bad Love”; in 2019 and began dating in 2020 before eventually in May 2021.
Shin Go Eun’s full statement is as follows:
Hello, this is Shin Go Eun.
I debated a lot for a long time whether to write this message. I’m writing this brief letter because many people are curious and I think this is a part of my life that I need to let people know about.
It has been almost half a year since we ended our three years of married life and went our separate ways. Our personalities and values were very different, and though we made a lot of effort, it didn’t work out.
We have decided that each of us will work harder and do our best separately, in our respective positions. I feel very apologetic to have to convey this kind of news to the people who gave us their interest and blessings.
