Former presidential media aide, Bashir Ahmad, asserts that the implementation of Sharia law is deeply entrenched in Nigeria and cannot be eliminated.
In a message posted on his verified X account on Sunday, Ahmad emphasized that Sharia law is integrated into Nigeria’s legal framework.

“How do you realistically believe you can halt the practice of Sharia law in Nigeria? Sharia law is fundamentally embedded in Nigeria’s constitutionally acknowledged legal system.

“It is not an element that can simply be dismissed due to outside influences or erroneous viewpoints,” he stated.
