NEXT month marks three years since music legend Shania Twain released her chart-topping sixth album, Queen Of Me.

And finally it’s almost time to “go girls” once more.

I’m happy to report that seventh collection is nearly complete.

The album has been primarily recorded in the Bahamas, near stunning coastal home, and on the road while she toured America last year.

I’m told that, while an exact release date hasn’t been picked yet, the album will be out this year.

Judging by the fact that lead singles of an artist’s record can drop months before the album, I don’t think we will be waiting too long to hear new music either.

A source said: “Shania initially started working on the album in early 2024, but put the record on hold to focus on her Come On Over — All The Hits residency in Las Vegas.

“Since then she’s been playing shows across America and hitting the studio.

“She’s really been inspired by being on the road and playing shows once more.

“Shania has always had this deep love of life but turning 60 last summer also reinvigorated her. She’s been super-inspired.”

Taking to last May, shared a shot of her carrying a guitar into the studio.

She teased: “Papped by my own husband on the way to what turned out to be a great writing session! I’ve been lucky enough to find a little time to hide away and put down the ideas that have been spinning around in my head since the last album.

“Funny to hear your own thoughts, feelings and daydreams being realised into actual songs.”

She added: “I know that this world isn’t systemically built to nurture a woman of my age releasing music, but I feel more in tune with myself than ever — strong, inspired and full of creative energy.

“Thank you to my fans who stay with me through the process — you are my inspiration.”

Cowboy boots

While the album is coming this year, there will be a little longer to wait for a tour.

I’m told beyond an odd show here and there, Shania has zero plans to tour in 2026, but there will be one in 2027.

Next year also happens to be 30 years since Shania released her album Come On Over, which spawned some of her biggest hits including Man! I Feel Like A Woman!, From This Moment On and Black Eyes, Blue Tears.

Shania last toured the UK in September 2023 with Bizarre digging out our leopard-print and cowboy boots for her London and Birmingham shows.

In July 2024 she jetted to the capital to play a huge show at .

After all these years, Shania, You’re Still The One we want to hear on our playlists.
