Udinese Group Technical Director, Nani, has announced the return of Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye to the Bianconeri squad.

Nani informed Messaggero Veneto that the 26-year-old's comeback will enhance the team's performance following his enforced absence.

“We are pleased to welcome Maduka back,” Nani stated, as reported by Tuttoudinese.

Okoye joined Udinese in the summer of 2023 and quickly became the first-choice goalkeeper before his suspension.

Prior to his transfer to Udinese, Okoye played for Watford in England.

However, Nani emphasized that it is ultimately the manager's decision whether Okoye will resume his position.

“The decisions are up to the coach, who has complete freedom,” he added.

Udinese's next match is a Serie A fixture against Cremonese on Monday, October 20.
