Inter Milan have approached Como to ask about Cesc Fabregas about replacing Simone Inzaghi as manager.
Inzaghi confirmed he would be leaving the San Siro on Monday, days after they lost 5-0 to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final.
Inter have now turned their attentions to his replacement and appear keen on Fabregas.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, they have also spoken to Como about their young manager.
The Nerazurri are also looking at former defender Cristian Chivu and ex-Crystal Palace manager Patrick Viera.
But Fabregas is believed to be their top priority. The former midfielder also holds the same appreciation for the club and had a chat with president Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio.
However, the situation is complicated by the fact he is both coach of Como and owns a stake in the club, while he has already rebuffed the advances of Bayer Leverkusen and Roma.
