Seohyun is plunged into yet another crisis in tonight’s episode of “The First Night with the Duke”;!
“The First Night with the Duke”; is a fantasy romance drama about an ordinary college student whose soul is transported into a minor character in a romance novel, Cha Sun Chaek (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun). After waking up in the world of the novel, she ends up spending the night with the obsessive male lead, Yi Beon (2PM’s Taecyeon).

Previously, Cha Sun Chaek finally married Yi Beon, who had been stripped of his title and ordered to the border to suppress invading tribes. Though their wedding was held quietly at dawn just before his departure, their deep love left a lingering tenderness greater than any grand ceremony.
However, this was all part of a scheme by Yi Gyu (Lee Tae Sun), the leader of the Black Death Group, to drive Yi Beon to his death and seize King Seol Jong’s (Joo Suk Tae) throne. Yi Beon’s close friend Jung Soo Gyeom (Seo Bum June) was also thrown into turmoil after discovering that his own father was a member of the Black Death Group. With these dangerous conspiracies unfolding, viewers are left wondering what fate awaits them.
Newly released stills show Cha Sun Chaek being arrested by palace guards. Dressed as if she were about to leave with Jung Soo Gyeom, Sun Chaek appears frozen in shock during the sudden confrontation. Soo Gyeom looks equally stunned and tense as he watches her being taken away.
Another still captures Soo Gyeom desperately reaching out as Sun Chaek is dragged off. What “crime”; has led to Cha Sun Chaek being declared a wanted criminal by royal decree?
