Taiwo Awoniyi has returned to full training at Nottingham Forest after recovering from injury, DAILY POST reports.
The Nigeria international missed the Tricky Trees last two league games of the 2024/25 season due to an abdominal injury.
Awoniyi underwent surgery twice as a result of the injury.
The 27-year-old was in attendance during Forest’s last game of the campaign against Chelsea at the City Ground after leaving hospital.
The striker is expected to be eased back into action gradually by head coach, Nuno Espirito Santo.
He scored once in 26 league appearances for the Reds last season.
