AN ASDA worker encountered a seriously unexpected item in the bagging area when she was proposed to during a shift.
Tracey Henderson got the surprise of a lifetime when her partner Gordon popped the question while she was manning the self-checkout tills at Asda’s Linwood store in Paisley.

The pair have been together for 19 years, but the romantic gesture still was still out of the blue for Tracey.
She said: “I wasn’t expecting it at all. I was totally gobsmacked to be honest.”
The proposal was so unexpected that when Tracey spotted her beau in the shop, she assumed he had come in to give her something completely different.
Tracey added: “I thought he was bringing me my car keys and then he got a ring out of his pocket and proposed.”
The couple first met when Tracey took her car to Gordon, a mechanic, to be fixed.
They now have have four grown-up children between them, along with four grandsons.
Speaking of his decision to tie the knot, Gordon said: “Tracey’s a very, very, very thoughtful and kind person and I can’t imagine my life without her.”
He joked: “I didn’t go down on one knee though as I might not have got up again!”
The declaration of love caused a stir among Paisley shoppers, who swarmed on Tracey to wish her well.
Tracey said: ” All the customers who were at self checkouts at the time were all congratulating me, and the colleagues loved it too.”
Even more excited compliments flooded in when the store shared the couple’s news on Facebook.
Jaymee McAliece wrote: “Been served by Tracey loads at Asda and she’s a brilliant wee wummin!! Congratulations”
