RYAN MOORE looks set to maintain his partnership with Constitution Hill – however Nicky Henderson says his participation at Newbury on Saturday is not set in stone.
The 2023 Champion Hurdler is on course to try and maintain his unbeaten record on the Flat when tackling Group 3 opposition in the John Porter.

However, Lambourn legend Hendo is set to walk the Berkshire track with clerk of the course George Hill on Wednesday ahead of making a decision over the nine-year-old’s participation in the mile and a half test.
And with Oisin Murphy, who partnered Constitution Hill on his Flat debut at Southwell set to be retained to a rival runner, it has seen Hendo turn to Classic-winning rider Moore, who was victorious on him last time out at Kempton Park.
Hendo said: “I spoke to George Hill last night and I’m thinking I will go over there Wednesday and walk around with him to see what the track is like and it all hinges on that.
“If it is too quick then it is too quick. He is a big boy and we are not going to risk him at all.
“We know we are all wrong at the weights, but we need to get a run into him as he is about to go on holiday.
