if he thinks should have come back a second time or if should it have ended with the epic first finale.
He explained: “It was lovely for it to come back. I’m not sure we had the perfect finale.
“I’ve always joked that it would have been amazing for there to have been a big bomb threat and Toadie jumped on the bomb to save the street.
“That would have been a great way to go out ha!”
However, when asked if he would appear in a second reboot , Ryan was very clear on his response.
He explained to JoeFortune : “I mean, it’d be lovely if it did come back, just for the show itself.
“For something that’s had such longevity and history, and has had such an effect on so many people, and still has so many fans.
“But I’m not sure what something like that, free-to-air TV, looks like now, whether it still gets that kind of traction, or whether it’s all moved to pay TV, or even just people watching YouTube.
“But who knows what the future holds. As for me and Toadie, I’m done. That chapter is closed.”
But Ryan has revealed that he would love to appear in a rival soap or a UK one if he was asked.
He said: “I’ve not been approached but I’d love to do it!
“When was coming to a close I thought it would be funny to start a rumour that I was going on to Home & Away to play Alf Stewart’s long lost child.”
