A RUSSIAN executive who “knew secret details about the death of a leading Putin foe” has been found dead in another mysterious “suicide”.

His body was found on June 6, but details of his death have only now emerged.
His death was officially confirmed as a suicide, but Telegram channel VChK-OGPU reported that Korshenko’s friends believe he was murdered.

“Korshenko knew the full sequence of events surrounding Prigozhin’s aircraft before the explosion and what had taken place on the day of the crash,” VChK-OGPU , which has close law enforcement links, reported.

Korshenko was the boss of the VIP terminal in St Petersburg, where Prigozhin’s plane departed.
Korshenko had been fired from his executive role shortly before his death, according to Russian media.
He also worked in different senior roles for companies linked to oligarch Gennady Timchenko, a long-time Putin associate.
Prigozhin’s death was widely seen as Putin’s revenge for his former loyalist leading a coup attempt, but the Kremlin has denied any role in his death.
He was known as “Putin’s chef” as he owned several restaurants and catering businesses that provided services to the Kremlin.
Russian secret services were suspected of carrying out the secret killing.
An explosive device was reportedly placed in a replacement air cycle machine fitted to the aircraft shortly before its departure.
The spare part had been swapped with one ordered from the US after the original part was broken in suspicious circumstances.
The replacement part came from Protektor, a company which allegedly has close ties to the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).
Korshenko had key information surrounding the mysterious explosion of Prigozhin’s aircraft, VChK-OGPU and Rucriminal.info claim.
They added that after his death “those questions may now remain unanswered.”
Among the dead in the plane explosion, was key figure Dmitry Utkin, 53, Wagner’s co-founder and military commander.
A former GRU special-forces officer, and flight attendant Kristina Raspopova, 39, were also among the ten dead.
Dozens of Russian executives have died in mysterious circumstances since before the start of Putin’s war against Ukraine.
In Spetember 2025, the decapitated body of top Russian boss , 49, was discovered under a bridge in Kaliningrad, Russia.
Sinitsyn’s death was labelled a suicide by Russian media, before any investigation into his cause of death had begun.
In March 2023, Sergey Grishin , the so-called “Scarface” oligarch who sold Meghan and Harry their California mansion, died from sepsis after criticising the Russian tyrant.
Russian scientist Andrey Botikov , who created the “Sputnik V” COVID-19 vaccine, was strangled with a belt in his apartment the same month.
