ROMA’S derby day win over Lazio descended into chaos after a player from each side was sent off following a shocking punch-up.

It was a tense game that saw 32 fouls, five yellow cards and two reds, which came during a frantic end to the contest.
The incident was sparked by goalscorer Mancini getting into a dispute with star – the son of legendary Italian defender Paolo.
Mancini appeared to wrap his legs around Maldini while down on the ground, causing him to stumble.
A melee then ensued between the two teams as Lazio’s Nicolo Rovella started scrapping with Roma winger Wesley Franca.
Shocking scenes saw Rovella throw a punch at Franca, who was seen staggering backwards before attempting to hit him back.
Rovella then charged forwarsd again to throw hands again, before their team-mates got involved and break it up.
The referee had no hesitation in showing the red card to both Rovella and Franca as the last 20 minutes finished with 10 vs 10.
The win for Roma helped them leapfrog Champions League rivals Como as they bid to return to the European competition.

Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini didn’t discuss the violent incident and red cards and instead hailed his team for getting the job done.
However, he warned them they still had work to do in order to seal a top four finish.
He said: “We won the derby today, we haven’t yet achieved our objective for the season, but nobody can doubt these players now.
“We had hoped others might slip up, today it was Juve, but we did well to concentrate on our own game against a quality Lazio side.

“It was a tough first half, we broke the deadlock from a dead ball situation, and then did better after the break. I congratulate these lads, but now we mustn’t let ourselves get swept up in enthusiasm, because there is one more step to take in this incredible chase.
“We can celebrate today, then immediately get down to thinking about an achievement that would be truly remarkable for us.”
Roma are now fourth with 70 points from 37 games, level on points with third-placed AC Milan.
They are also three points off Antonio’s Conte’s , who currently occupy second position with one game to go.
Their rivals Como are two points adrift but have a better goal difference, meaning a point in their final game away at relegated Verona wouldn’t be enough for Roma.
Como, meanwhile, travel to Cremonese, who are fighting for survival and are one point off safety going into the final day.
