Lee, from Llanrwst, admitted to actual bodily harm and was sentenced last week to eight months in , suspended for 12 months.
Caernarfon Crown Court heard how the victim had suddenly stopped his car after hearing an unfamiliar beeping sound, concerned something was wrong.
Lee’s punches cause the victim to lose consciousness, and left him suffering from a bruised eye socket and grazed eyelid.
The victim described the attack as “extremely aggressive and shocking”, and has since been struggling with his memory.
It was also noted that he was “verbally aggressive” towards the victim’s wife.
Lee’s defence team described the moment as a “single, isolated” attack wherein he “bitterly regrets” his actions.
It was established in court that the attacker had served for a brief stint in the military before obtaining a career-ending injury.
Lee has also openly struggled with his mental , founding a team to support those struggling in his community.
His only other previous conviction was a referral for common assault in 2005.
The self-employed carpenter and joiner has been told he must carry out 10 rehabilitation days and pay £500 compensation on top of his suspended sentence.
