SACHA LEWIS is looking to emulate her brother Rico – after penning her first professional contract with Women’s Super League title holders Manchester City.
The Sky Blues bolstered their squad by from Arsenal last month.

And City have now rewarded Lewis, 18, with a deal after showing plenty of promise while coming through the ranks.
The defender has followed in her brother Rico’s footsteps, having seen him make waves in the Premier League before on a place in England’s World Cup squad.
Lewis is now desperate to play a key role as City aim to defend their WSL crown.
After putting pen-to-paper, the Under-19s international said: “It’s amazing. A lot of hard work was put in and it’s such a great achievement. I’m proud.
“It means so much, it means even more because I support . Being here in the academy, not many people get this opportunity so I’m very grateful.”
Lewis joined the Sky Blues’ U14s before working her way through the system and being integrated into the senior squad.
The teenager was rewarded with a place in the matchday squad for two WSL showdowns last season.
And City chief Andree Jeglertz included Lewis among the substitutes for the League Cup semi-final loss to in January.

Director of football Therese Sjogran said: “This is a special moment for Sacha and one she fully deserves.
“Her development is another demonstration of the incredible pathway our young players have to the first team.
“She’s been a shining example to her team-mates despite still being just 18.
“To that point, I would also like to thank our head of girls’ academy Hannah Dingley, lead coach and everyone involved in our Next Gen set-up for their role in Sacha’s development.
“We’re all excited to see what she can achieve at City in the coming years. With her talent and attitude, she certainly has a bright future in the game.”
Lewis will be pushing to make her debut in the season opener against newly-promoted Birmingham City on September 6.
