LOVE Island’s Amy Hart has used a recent health diagnosis as a learning opportunity for fans.
The revealed she had received an abnormal result on her smear test.

told fans how she had a recent smear test that once again came back with changes to her cervical cells after doctors
Posting a photo from a medical room, Amy urged fans “to book your smear test if it’s due.”
Smear tests check the health of a woman’s cervix and can help to prevent cancer.
“Mine came back with changes agaaain for them to have a look but at least I’m not pregnant this time!” Amy wrote over the photo.

“Just checked my letter and it’s the same lovely lady I had 4 years ago who put my mind at ease after I called her in a panic after finding out I was pregnant 3 days after she told me not to get pregnant until the cells had been removed.”
Amy continued: “When there are so many mean and miserable people in the world, love that there are also so many lovely ones.”

started on the NHS in the 1960s and offers regular tests for all women aged 25 to 64 to check for cancer, and changes in cells of the cervix.
Around 13 types out of more than 100 of HPV are behind 99.7 per cent of cervical cancers.
By detecting any abnormalities, doctors can prevent cancer from developing.
All women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64 should be invited by letter to get their smear, and should try to not delay booking their appointment.
