A SALES broker on a pub crawl jumped over a gate into a locked courtyard before falling to his death, an inquest heard.

Ryley Harbord — who suffered from and had told his he felt “out of control” — had also taken cocaine.

The 22-year-old, pictured above, left the crawl after falling out with other drinkers and was seen on CCTV clambering into Smiths’ Court in Soho, central .

He was thought to have been unable to get out and headed to a spiral staircase.

He went out of sight but footage picked up banging noises, swearing and glass breaking.

Mr Harbord, of Dartford, , was found on a lower roof with massive head injuries.

Recording an open verdict, assistant coroner Sophie Mortimer told Inner West London Coroner’s Court: “Ryley had ADHD for which he was prescribed medication.

“He also had a history of drug and alcohol misuse,’ she said.

“It was not possible to determine how Ryley came to fall onto the roof where he was found.

“I can’t say with any degree of certainty whether it was an accident or a deliberate act.”

Det Sgt Harrison added: “We were trying to piece together Ryley’s evening as best we could to work out whether there was any link with 49 Brewer Street.

‘We couldn’t be sure how Ryley came to be at that location. There was nothing to indicate Ryley knew anyone there and there was no obvious entry point.”
