Daredevil Teen Poses at the Precipice of Crumbling 150ft Cliff Made Famous by ITV Drama

A RECKLESS teen has risked his life for a picture on the edge of a famous crumbling 150ft cliff.

In West Bay, , a teenage boy shocked locals when he dangled over a cliff that was featured in the drama .

The coastline tourist hotspot is notoriously dangerous due to regular rockfalls.

So far this year there’s been nine landslips, but the teen appeared unfazed as he posed for the during sunset.

The boy was seen with a girl who helped him snap some photos on Britain’s Jurassic Coast.

He seemingly decided it was the perfect vantage point to gaze out at the sea, not realising how dangerous the area is.

In January, a catastrophic collapse sent 500 tonnes of rock crashing down onto the beach below.

Boulders the size of small cars smashed into the sand, unleashing a suffocating dust cloud into the sky.

And beneath the boy’s feet is a huge fracture in the 180-million-year-old sandstone cliff, which locals say could crumble at any point.

But despite the threat of a fatal plunge, the reckless tourist perched himself on the edge of the cliff.

One beach visitor, Daryl Gill, spotted the daredevil teen and the girl.

Daryl said: “They were there for 10 to 15 minutes and also taking photos and selfies.

“You can see the huge crack so if any section is going to go next it will be that one.”

Following the warm this , thousands of sunseekers have been flocking to the country’s coastlines.

But this influx of summer day-trippers has caused concern as many seem unaware of the dangers when traversing these ancient cliffs.

Daryl added: “It’s quite worrying that people don’t know the dangers.”
