A FRESH reality TV concept is already destined for disaster – but that’s just the way producers want it.

Studio Lambert — which brought us hit — will ask contestants to rise to the challenge during a catastrophe in new show The Test.

And one of the first scenarios they face will have echoes of Noughties telly drama Lost.

Participants must survive a plane crash in a remote, tropical destination, which was the basis of the popular series starring Matthew Fox and Emilie De Ravin.

The Test has yet to be snapped up by a channel or streamer, though it does sound like just the sort of thing or would love.

In the meantime, Studio Lambert, which were also behind Channel 4 flops The Inheritance and Rise And Fall, have already started the search for contestants.

In an advert, they describe the new concept as “an intense, high-stakes TV experiment”.

They add: “Are you ready to be pushed beyond your comfort zone? We want everyday people to take on intense, real-world scenarios.”

Filming for the ambitious series starts this , and it will involve the contestants carrying out challenges and missions.

I’m told the predicaments will be similar to those we saw on show Bear Hunt.

But seeing as that was axed after just one series, perhaps they should not try to copy it too much.

They are after a crisis, not a complete calamity, after all.

THERE’S a lot of role play in and Emily Atack’s new game show – but I can reveal one contestant takes it to kinkier heights.

On ITV’s Nobody’s Fool, Oxbridge graduate Melissa Todd reveals that she joined Mensa at the age of 12 and boasted a higher IQ score than Albert Einstein.

But as well as being incredibly intelligent, Melissa is a proud dominatrix.

An insider said: “Melissa comes across as a prim and proper lady in the first episode, but her fellow contestants get the shock of their lives when they discover her steamy secret.”

Nobody’s Fool is a quiz show with a twist. The winner is not decided by how smart you are, but by how smart your rivals think you are.

Will Melissa’s naughty secret scupper her chances?

Nobody’s Fool starts at 9pm on Saturday on ITV1 and .

BBC One’s is reuniting former double act and Ben Miller as co-hosts.

Other celeb presenting partners for Alexander will include comedian Nish Kumar, singer Michael Ball and broadcasters and .

The Irish actress says she gets hate mail for the way her character Maud O’Hara treats husband Declan, played by .

She told the Picky Bits podcast: “The amount of hate I’ve got as Maud for being, let’s say, challenging towards my husband.

“And then Maud wasn’t particularly pleasant to my daughter and wow, did let me know.”

In the first series of the Disney+ show, based on Jilly Cooper’s racy novel, struggling actress Maud grew tired of being neglected by her workaholic husband.

But it looks like the couple could be back on track in the new series after they enjoyed a steamy session in the shower.

FLORENCE HUNT swaps the gilded halls of for the mean streets of London in a new role.

Best known for playing youngest sister Hyacinth in the Regency-era Netflix series, the actress is getting to grips with a much grittier part in hotly anticipated Bare.

In these first-look images, Florence, who plays young runaway Sophie, waves goodbye to high-society glamour and corsets for a trip to the park in a hoodie and tracksuit bottoms.

She was spotted filming dramatic scenes on a swing outside a station alongside favourite and Scottish actor Seamus Mclean Ross.

Bare comes from writer-director Lorna Tucker and is inspired by her own memoir of the same name.

Big screen icon also stars in the film.

Following her roles in binge-worthy BBC series Mix Tape and film Queen At Sea – starring Juliette Binoche – as well as becoming a Dior Beauty ambassador, Florence is one to watch.
