Princess and Junior Andre Reveal How They Discovered Katie Price's Engagement and Their Journey of 'Trauma-Bonding'

THEY have insisted they are happy for their mum whatever she decides to do in life.

But now for the first time, daughter has revealed how she really found out about the model’s new man, . In her most candid discussion about it yet, the teenage influencer has opened up on how living through Katie’s mad moves has left her and brother Junior “trauma-bonded”.

While family WhatsApp groups are usually a place for reminders, in-jokes and loving notes – it seems to be rather different for the Price-Andre clan.

Princess discovered her mum was married in their group chat – leaving her and brother shell-shocked.

, 18, said: “The message Mum sent on the group chat about being engaged…. I literally responded ‘OMG’.

“Mum’s very impulsive, but that is impulse on a whole other level.

“I don’t know anything about him [Lee] and all I know is he proposed to my mum after knowing her a week.”

, 20, was just as dumbfounded.

The chart hopeful added: “I put, ‘I’m so confused. What a bombshell.’”

“At this point, I don’t know what to think. She’s flipping married him.

“I don’t know the guy, so it’s shocking. Of course it is. It is weird.

“If anyone’s mum got engaged to someone that you don’t know, you’re going to be like ‘what the hell’.

“I would have liked to know what’s been going on, what’s it leading up to, but everyone lives their lives and has their own thing.”

Loyally, the lad added: “Mum’s not a bad person, she’s a great mum.

“The main thing is if this guy can treat mum respectfully, that’s all I care about.”

The duo – Katie’s children with – have lived through three divorces, countless new men and welcomed new brothers and sisters into their lives.

As well as older brother Harvey, 23, there is Jett, 12, and Bunny, 11.

But many felt that , just days after meeting him in person, was Katie’s maddest move yet.

Princess said: “I do think it’s a bit crazy, but it’s not surprising cos it’s mum.

“Mum is crazy, but that’s just mum.

“Now we’re older, we can actually just talk about it, and we can discuss how we feel.

“In a way, we have trauma bonded, like we’ve grown up in a lot of difficult situations, and we’ve always been there for each other in that sense.”

Their close relationship is a joy to watch in the fly-on-the-wall series, back for a second run after young viewers loved the first look into Princess’ life.

In the touching scene, Junior adds: “I wouldn’t change it for anything.

“Growing up, me and Princesses have had great times, but we’ve also really had it hard.

“But going through what we have gone through has definitely made us stronger people.”

BOOMING CAREER

Princess is now forging her own modelling career as an influencer, whilst in the music industry.

Princess might now be at home in front of a camera, but she won’t be following her mum into saucy glamour modelling or OnlyFans, which has made Katie millions.

In another episode, Princess chats to best pal – Kerry Katona’s daughter with ex Mark Croft.

They’re slapping on a mud skin treatment at a spa, and Heidi laughs: “I feel like I’m doing OnlyFans!

“If this was for OnlyFans, my mum would kill me, but I would never go on OnlyFans, it’s not my thing.”

Then she asks Princess: “Do you think your mum would be ok with you doing it?”

Katie’s daughter laughs: “Probably, but I wouldn’t.”

“Mum and Kerry are very open about the fact they do Only Fans. But because mum did page three modelling before, her doing Only Fans isn’t actually that deep and it pays well, so props to her.”

Since Katie’s Page Three days, her looks have changed dramatically, with and extreme surgery causing real concern among friends and family.

But the constant “feedback” has really impacted Princess.

‘THE HATE WAS AWFUL’

She said: “Obviously, I see my mum and dad all the time, but when I don’t post about them [online] loads of people comment ‘why are you never with your mum’, ‘why are you never with your dad’.

“So I’m like ok, I’ll post a video.

“Me and mum went out shopping and it was such a good day out, we had so much fun, then the amount of comments [on the video] about how she looks….. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

I understand she looks skinny, we’ve all told her, but what gives you the right to comment on someone’s appearance?

Notes from fans included “She looks like a walking skeleton” and “She looks like she’s been dug up.”

“When I get that sort of feedback on videos of me and my Mum, it just makes me want to not post her and not show people how much fun we actually have.

“The amount of hate she got on that video was awful.”

Another scene shows Katie facetiming Princess while she’s in Dubai for a chit chat.

They’ve come a long way since the launch of series one, which was overshadowed by talk of Katie being “banned” from filming.

It sparked an uprising from , who hit out at Katie online. But all now seems civil between the warring factions – for now.
