PRINCE WILLIAM rushed onto social media to celebrate Aston Villa’s Europa League glory – and reserved special praise for a star who was ruled out of the showdown through injury.

And the Villa-mad royal was before jumping at the chance to hold the Europa League trophy with chief Unai Emery.
The Prince then headed onto X to send congratulations to his heroes after a memorable night in the club’s history.
He bizarrely paid tribute to midfielder Boubacar Kamara, who has been out of action since January.
In the social media post, wrote: “Amazing night!! Huge congratulations to all the players, team, staff and everyone connected to the club! Forty-four years since the last taste of European silverware!
“Special shout out to Boubacar Kamara who has been out injured but is such an integral part of our team and helped lay the foundations of this success.”
Kamara, 26, has not been involved since suffering a worrying knee injury in Villa’s at Tottenham.
But the Villans still managed to get themselves over the line in the midfielder’s absence.

And Morgan Rogers ended Freiburg’s hopes of mounting a stunning comeback by adding his name to the scoresheet after the break.
It came after the Prince on Instagram before the clash got underway in Turkey.
He was seen punching the air in delight after each of Villa’s strikes as he cheered them on to victory.
William started supporting the newly-crowned Europa League winners .
With most of his classmates supporting sides challenging for regular honours, he wanted to stand out from the crowd and back a side that would take him through the emotions.
And he can now expect another chance to watch his beloved club in the Champions League next season, having sealed qualification by seeing off Freiburg.
