Shoppers have been raving over the bargain retail giant’s “gorgeous” £24 Funnel Neck Polka Dot Jacket.
Available in sizes XS to XL, it’s already completely sold out online with fashionistas flocking to stores to find it instead.
The boxy cream jacket features a high funnel neck which can be zipped up for structure or left open, two front pockets and small black spots.
Describing it on the website, Primark bosses insist that the modern silhouette gives a “relaxed, contemporary feel”.
They added: “Wide full-length sleeves with dropped shoulders enhance the oversized look, and a concealed front zip behind a storm flap keeps the design sleek.
“Two front flap pockets add a utilitarian touch and an adjustable elasticated hem creates a subtle bomber-style finish.
“The classic black mini polka dot print on cream adds playful, timeless style to this versatile jacket.”
And some bargain lovers have insisted the Primark outerwear is the perfect purse-friendly alternative for a similar jacket in M&S.
The Marks and Spencer Cotton Rich Funnel Neck Bomber Jacket is priced at £55 – making it £31 more expensive than its high street rival.
Their fashion team say that it brings a “favourite design into modernity” thanks to its tie funnel neck and clean silhouette.
“It’s cut in a comfy regular fit with a stylish elasticated trim at the cuffs and hem to create the iconic look”, they add on the website.
Taking to TikTok , fashion fan Mikaela hunted down the “very similar” polka dot jackets to see which one came out on top.
She hailed Primark’s version as “gorgeous” and claimed the “quality is insane”.
“It just has such a nice fit [and] looks so expensive”, she added.

Making her way to M&S, she said: “Let’s go and compare the two. At my favourite place, fingers and toes crossed that they have it.
“£55, that’s obviously a bit more expensive.
“I like the size of the polka dots. It’s really cute. It does obviously feel a little bit better quality. It’s because it’s like double the price.”
Mikaela’s video quickly went viral with 64,000 views – and fashion fans are divided over which one is their favourite.
“M&S looks soooo much better”, one gushed.
Someone else claimed: “The Primark looks more youthful.”
A third suggested: “The style of the Primark one but the quality & size of polka dots of the M&S would eaaat.”
“I bought the primark one today, I love it”, added a fourth.
Meanwhile, a fifth insisted: “M&s is the best one!!”
