Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Thursday, paid a visit to Plateau State to condole the government and people of the state following the recent wave of attacks that have left over 250 persons dead and over 5,000 displaced.

Many of the affected communities and families have now turned to Internally Displaced Persons camps across the state for shelter.

Senator Oluremi was received by Governor Caleb Mutfwang, along with top government officials, security personnel and prominent Plateau personalities across party lines.

The APC women representatives led by wife of the Minister of Humanitarian and Poverty Reduction, Professor Martina Yilwatda Goshwe, the State’s APC Women leader, LGA women leaders and other important dignitaries were also at the airport to receive her.

This is the second time the President’s wife will be visiting the state. In September 2023, she also paid a similar visit to the state to support displaced individuals
