He scored two goals in 18 Premier League appearances for the club, but he’s had nine other homes during his career.
He’s also never made more than 12 league appearances in a single season and with 11 to his name at Morecambe, that’s not a record he can now break.
The club released a short statement to announce the departure of the two-time Jamaica international.
“Morecambe Club can confirm that has departed the club following the expiration of his contract.
“Aarons joined the Shrimps during the 2025/26 season and went on to feature 13 times throughout his time.
“Everyone at Morecambe FC would like to thank Rolando for his efforts and dedication while at the club and wish him the very best in the next chapter of his career.
Morecambe are currently second-bottom in the National League and have had a tough time over the past few years.
They reached back in 2021, but financial problems have hung over the club and now they look on the cusp of dropping down the football pyramid even further.
