CHRIS MASON slighted the current Premier League Darts format and pushed for a HUGE turnaround.
The former star revealed to Online Darts that he is fed up with seeing the same names going head-to-head every week.

Mason, 56, believes the competition is “due a change” and wants more players involved to freshen it up.
He also reckons the old format gave more of a blockbuster feel as fans were forced to wait for the biggest grudge matches and rivalry nights.
said: “I’m bored of the whole concept, like the beauty of the Premier League years ago was ‘What week was Barney [Raymond van Barneveld] and [Phil] Taylor playing?’ or ‘What week is Taylor and [Adrian] Lewis playing?’
“And the whole build- up to it… You would watch it on Sky and it would be a bit like a big fight night.
“It was like they would have a build countdown clock to when Barney was playing Taylor.
“I think people prefer that, or well that’s what I get off of fans anyway.”
The current Prem sees the same eight players competing across a weekly mini-tournament format.
Mason admitted he still likes the competition but just wished that they changed it up every once in a while to avoid it becoming stale.
