MANCHESTER CITY are on the verge of receiving approval for a bold new addition to their Etihad Stadium.

Much of that work came through , the Stand following the departure of the legendary coach last month.

But the club are not done redesigning the face of their Etihad Campus in a £300million project.

The organisation are waiting on approval for the addition of a new immersive entertainment venue.

The 600-capacity venue would be built on Medlock Square next to the stadium.

It would join live performance venue Live as the club look to create an entertainment hub around their ground.

The planning application is set to be discussed on Thursday June 11th and is expected to be approved after receiving a recommendation from council planners.

The venue is set to host a new location for interactive theatre-dining experience Mamma Mia!

A version of the show at the O2 Arena in London remains wildly popular, while another in Stockholm has celebrated its ten-year anniversary.
