A Portsmouth fan appeared to slap Krystian Bielik as he was trying to retrieve the ball for a throw-in.

Those in attendance tweeted that Bielik had grabbed the fan in the south stand, but it seems the fan started it.

The foolish supporter in question was seen being escorted out by stewards shortly after.

His family were also led out of the ground.

Portsmouth won the game 2-0, making it a doubly poor day for Bielik.

Goals from Conor Shaughnessy and Marezi Marezi got the job done for the home side.
