CHRIS COLEMAN has made his return to management with a third stint in Greece.
The former manager, 55, has joined the struggling Greek Super League team Asteras Tripolis, after being out of work since his departure from Belgian club OH Leuven in June.

Having managed in seven different countries, he has previously held positions at fellow Greek teams Larissa and Atromitos.
However, the former Wales manager is eager to make an immediate impact after taking over from Savvas Pantelidis.
Coleman stated: “I’m excited about this new challenge. I have been aware of Asteras since my time at AEL and Atromitos.
“This is a very serious club that finds itself in a situation it does not deserve and needs to improve.
“I have encountered similar situations in my career, and I am here to help Asteras turn things around.
“Now is not the time for excessive talk, but for hard work. What matters is that we win the next game and shift our momentum.
“I hope the Asteras fans will enjoy the matches they see at the stadium.
“I would like to ask them to stand by us, support us, and we will fight hard and give our best for them.”
Coleman famously led Wales, featuring several star players, to the semi-finals of Euro 2016.
He has worked in his native country, as well as in England, Spain, China, Cyprus, and of course Greece.
Coleman has managed teams such as Coventry and Sunderland.
He thrives on international challenges, having previously coached at Real Sociedad in Spain and Hebei China Fortune in China, along with a brief stint in Cyprus at AEL Limassol.
Other notable figures who have coached Asteras include Carlos Carvalhal and Claude Makelele, who led the team in 2024 despite remaining undefeated.
